Player History
Vanilla
Dippy started playing WoW on December 26th, 2004. He got the game for Christmas but the game box had no CD's forcing him to drive over an hour to the closest EB games to exchange it since he lives in the middle of no where Canada. At first he rolled Alliance on Draenor getting to mid 30's and shimmering flats on a Paladin.
He then met some friends at school who got him to re-roll on Destromath as Horde. His first 60 was a Warlock named Criptos, after having leveled in some feeder guild for Souls of FxC. He joined Caesar to raid at max level, whom struggled with killing Ragnaros. A friend who was in RiF had him invited to a BWL raid as they were somehow short players, the Chinese officers in Caesar took great offense to this even though they weren't raiding BWL at all at this point and G-kicked Dippy. RiF gave him a pity invite and he got to participate in RiF's first kills of Broodlord, Flamemaw, Ebonroc, Flamegor and Chromaggus. Then about 2 weeks after joining RiF he was G-kicked again while on vacation for a few days. Just before G-unit died he managed to join their ranks very briefly and experience Neferian in BWL and all the fights in AQ40 except for Visidicus. Did not get a C'thun kill but worked on Phase 2. He never raided Naxx in Vanilla.
After he was done raiding in Vanilla he decided he was playing too much and needed to focus on school. In a genius attempt to get banned he downloaded hacks for the game that let him get across Warsong Gulch and back with the flag before the enemy team could exit their own tunnel. As well as a hack that let you walk up any sloped surface. Unfortunately this wasn't enough for a perma ban from Blizzard. So he went into the middle of Org and yelled racial obscenities about Arabs attacking America again (this was only a few years post 9-11).
A few months later his dip shit older brother bought him the game again and he leveled another warlock on his new account Turiin.
The Burning Crusade
On launch day for TBC dippy rolled a Paladin, Diploid. It took about 2 months to hit 70 since he was still a shitty teenager.
After finally hitting lvl 70 he got an invite back to RiF because they were in need of healers for Kara teams. Just after Black Temple was released when RiF was struggling hard with Kael'Thas and Vashj, Dippy joined Nova and raided with them until they died in Sunwell. During this time Dippy also raided with BTYM on Turiin, his first max level alt. Once Nova officers all quit after the first kill of Brutallus, Dippy went back to raiding Black Temple with RiF on his warlock since his paladin was geared up.
Wrath
Dippy joined CSM as a friends rank while leveling Diploid in Wrath. He missed out on the server first titles for Sartharion and Kel'Thuzad by a few hours as he was too slow leveling. Had he been max level he could have gotten those sweet sweet titles as CSM was taking anyone max level in the guild. Dippy left CSM and raided with RiF for the entire expansion. At the end of Wrath RiF died and Jaspal started The Aristocracy (tA) with some friends. This guild and a few random pals did a 10 man ICC group. Eventually a 1% wipe on Sindragosa killed the group and Jaspal had to leave on a work trip.
He also leveled a Pink hair female gnome Death Knight on Alliance (Trindi) and took it to Ulduar raids with Crisis for awhile. This DK was transferred to Horde and renamed Criptos, This was when he main switched from his Paladin to DK raiding 25M ICC with RiF on Criptos before they died.
The Aristocracy
From the Start of Cata all the way until Siege of Orgrimmar in MoP Dippy raided and eventually was raid leader for tA 10 man raids. Only real things of note are Server First Challenge Mode Gold in MoP and Realm First level 90 DK in MoP.
CSM Again
Dippy joined CSM late in MoP after tA quit raiding and farmed Heirloom weapons off of Garrosh with them. For a year.
The Aristocracy Again
Dippy returned to tA for WoD but Jeff and pals quit raiding fairly quickly into Highmaul because of roster problems. Jaspal was not interested in combining groups with CSM since we were bringing lots of pals and people he considered to be undesirable. Dippy didn't give a fuck and wanted to continue raiding and finally left tA on all his guys for good.
CSM Again Again
Dippy raided with CSM for the rest of WoD and would often serve as Raid Leader after Homax quit.
In Legion
Like Red, Dippy was excited about the idea of Demon Hunter tanks. He leveled his DH first and tanked the first 2-3 raids before he realized that DH tanking was fucking miserable and switched to playing his Paladin as his main once again. He main tanked on his paladin for all of EN, ToV, NH, and ToS up to Kil'Jaeden. Diploid was finished off as tank by Kil'jaeden after he refused to stop dying to Felclaws, even with MAXIMUM HEALS from Dunbaron. This earned him the nickname Riplod. He switched to tanking KJ on his Death Knight, and then later on his Druid, but still died during Felclaws. Some players claimed they saw him sitting down for the fifth stack.
Completed all 36 mage tower challenges, one for each spec in the game to unlock a skin for each artifact that will not be obtainable after Legion ends. The first (probably only) player in CSM to get all 36 of them.
BFA
Sophie
Sophie is Dippy's Australian Labradoodle, dogs which his mom breeds and sells. Sophie was the very first one they got and has since been fixed / retired and is now just Dippy's Pet. She loves to bark right as the discord bind is hit.
