A poor man's Shard of the Scale

Mindtap Talisman was a trinket drop out of DM West. In a world where trinkets were almost all shitty and the good ones were mostly in raids, the Mindtap Talisman really stood out. There was lots of competition for the Shard of the Scale on Onyxia kills and there were basically no real healer trinkets out of MC, so all the healers ended up chain running DM until they had 2 of these, or in the case of a priest 1 of them and then the Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas. It was so good that Kabal, a mage, even got 2 of them to replace his Mark of the Chosen and Argent Dawn Commission. Kabal may or may not have been wearing 2 Mindtap Talismans at the realm first Onyxia kill.
