Death's Sting is a Dagger drop from C'Thun. For most it's not especially notable aside from being a good main hand dagger. Within CSM it became the birth of a meme that would last forever. Shadowalker hoarded his DKP so he could get the first Death's Sting and week after week we never saw the dagger. Eventually people would start congratulating him on every kill that once again did not drop a dagger. Eventually it would evolve into "Nice dagger Shadow." After a few months of C'Thun kills he did eventually get the dagger unfortunately, but not before Nice Item had become a legend within the guild. This would go on to be used on pretty much any item that someone expressed a great desire for but just doesn't seem to drop.
