Brawler's Guild

Brawler's guild first came out on patch 5.1, 2012-11-27, the first content update after MoP release. To enter you needed a Blood-Soaked Invitation as either a drop from one of the 6 faction rares inside the alliance base in Krasarang Wilds or 1k at the black market auction house. Pdog got one super early while freezy grinded for about 8-10 hours trying to get one. Once freezy made it to the brawlers guild pdog was stuck 3 fights into the 3rd rank (11 fights in). Freezy then proceeded to progress while watching pdog be stuck in the early ranks for hours.

On initial release there was no phasing so every server was in the same zone which provided great atmosphere and great entertainment for the few days/weeks? where it lasted. Imagine something like 500 people packed around the brawler arena all yelling at people who were failing, it was fan fucking tastic. /y YOU GOT BRUCED!!!!!! The queues were averaging around 40-90 minutes depending on the time for the first few weeks so it gave some sort of pressure to not fuck up otherwise you'd be waiting for an eternity.

Eventually they CRZ'd it and it was a barren wasteland for the remainder, feelsbadman

Extatic was known for being really really geared. Penguin required interrupting by hitting/dealing damage which then knocked the penguin back interrupting itself.
