~ is the single, most used and feared type of punctuation in CSM guild chat or its associated channels. It's proper to append a ~ to any noun that you might expect your fellow raiders to be excited about -- "raid~", for example, when we are about to raid a boss that we'll wipe to for four hours, or when we're about to jump around in circles in the instance for half an hour waiting for the last five raiders(~) to show up.
