The End-Boss Loot Pool refers to a recent activity undertaken by the inhabitants of the csmholynova channel. By definition, the game may only be invoked for the end-boss of a high-tier instance; for example, Archimonde or Illidan. The game was the result of approximately two weeks of Whitemage and Addat trying to predict the drops of bosses in Black Temple and Battle for Mount Hyjal.
Rules of the Game
Participants pay a 15g bet, and then offer their guesses in the csmholynova channel.
Then, the boss is killed, and Zelf's sword doesn't drop (his sword dropped well after interest was lost in the loot pool).
Prize money is distributed amongst those players who successfully predicted any drops from the boss, with more-completely-correct guesses being awarded a larger share of the money pool.
