csmholynova is the name of CSM's official priest channel. Throughout its existence, it has been known to house some of the guild's best and brightest players, providing them with a real-time, in-game forum for thought-provoking discussion of WoW game mechanics, erudite commentary on raid, dungeon, and encounter strategy, no less than seven thousand Hrangar jokes and pranks, and an endless stream of whining towards the officers that chose to frequent the channel.
Though the channel was initially a gathering place for the priests of CSM only, the passing of time has brought with it the entry of several non-priest players to the channel. Friendly and intelligent players tend to find themselves more than welcome, as well as those who can sympathize with the plight, trials, and tribulations of end-game priests, and anyone in a position to effect change as a result of whining witnessed in the channel (i.e. officers).

Origins
During early BWL progression, the only class channel of any significance was the mage channel. The channel was a favorite hangout of many non-mages, including Whitemage (who was, at the least, a mage in name). One time, Shadowalker joined the channel and, by a freak occurrence (namely, the completely asinine Blizzard custom channel system), gained moderator status and promptly kicked all of the mages out of the channel. Upon regaining control of the channel, Kabal promptly banned all non-mages from the channel.
With no options remaining, Whitemage created the csmpriests channel to carry the torch. The channel existed in a fledgling state for many weeks following its creation, as Kendoch had no interest in being in the same chat channel as Hrangar or Knolan. He (and others) would eventually be persuaded, and the channel flourished. No doubt instrumental in the successes of the channel were Cinara's stories of her crazier times in college.
Tragedy struck in Naxxramas when Blackmage entered the channel while the incredible Blizzard custom channel system refused to award anyone moderator status. Undeterred, Whitemage moved the channel to its current home in csmholynova.
Channel Peculiarities
- Making a pro-druid comment in the channel will, by the grace of God, pass moderator privileges to Whitemage regardless of any and all extenuating circumstances. The retribution is invariably swift and just.
- In a display of Blizzard's chat-channel senselessness, one time Atena muted Whitemage, only to have Manbeast leave the channel, which somehow passed owner status to Whitemage, who promptly unmuted himself.
