Dark Edge of Insanity
Dark Edge of Insanity was a 2H Axe that dropped off of C'Thun in AQ. The weapon is notable because of the potency of the proc. This was like a blind that didn't break on damage. The target would just kinda wander around slowly for 3 seconds while you just lay into them. None of the talents or abilities that interacted with stuns could do anything against the proc. Nothing short of Iceblock or Divine Shield would get you out of it. Naturally Red got the first DEoI we got off of our first C'Thun kill. As was tradition, many healers joined him for some BGs immediately after the raid and just pocked healed him while he WRECKED some idiots. We got so many of the DEoI that even Jody, the MT, got one as well. It was such a common drop that even Stormcrow spent DKP on one, enraging some of the newer Warriors that did not have the DKP to compete.
