Coworker

Coworker, used in the context of CSM lore, refers to an infamous incident that occurred in the by-then-farm-status AQ40. It is the crowning achievement in Shadowalker's never ending quest for purples, and the most scandalous action taken by an officer to date.

Origins

With the downing of the Twin Emperors and the imminent nerfs to phase two of the C'Thun encounter, many raiders in CSM began to set their sights on the incredible item-level 88 loot from the instance's final boss. Chiefly amongst these players was that ever-so-brilliant beacon of all that could possibly be good in a raider, Shadowalker. His desire for the phenomenal dagger, Death's Sting, is now the stuff of legend, primarily because of its repeated refusal to drop. Shadowalker rested comfortably atop the nDKP list for many weeks, but was kept waiting as every priest in the guild was awarded a complimentary Grasp of the Old God.

Meanwhile, creeping ever so nearer was that annual, idyllic period of time in which Shadowalker treks outside of his humble igloo, through the snow, to travel for work. With each passing week, with C'Thun continuing to drop priest belts and Rokash rings, Shadowalker's chance to obtain the game's premiere rogue weapon was slipping through his fingers.

As the business trip became imminent, it was clear that drastic measures were necessary to ensure the purple fell into proper hands. A week prior to The Coworker Incident, Shadowalker elected to raid without the use of Ventrilo, claiming at the time that it was a trial run for when he would be unable to raid with Ventrilo during his work trip. Though this claim was largely accepted at face-value, no one could predict Shadowalker's true motives -- which would soon come to light...
