The Cap of the Scarlet Savant was a epic cloth helm that could be obtained by completing a questline. The hat was notable because it was a relatively obtainable epic item at a point in the game when getting purples was near unheard of. Also it granted 2% spell crit back when spell crit was all the rage before the casters learned of the might of spell power.
